Cold chain truck driver Wang Xiangnan will drive the cold chain truck stopped in the middle of the road and open the double flashers to remind the car behind to slow down and stop in time, preventing the rear of the unaware vehicles from continuing to move forward.
Liu Yongjin and Cai Xunda, with the help of a cell phone flashlight to reach the collapse to rescue, have saved six people.
ZZYY: The May Day holiday is a wonderful day for Chinese people to reunite and travel, but such a tragedy has occurred, and how many other families are saddened by it. Officials are still investigating the responsibility, and hope that the responsible party can be dealt with seriously. After the accident, the people of Meizhou City took the initiative to come to donate blood, and the blood donation crowd formed a long line. “We can’t do anything, but we have blood.”An uncle who donated blood said.

Baidu Vice President Qu Jing Several videos posted on social media platforms have sparked controversy
“Why should I consider the employee’s family, I’m not her mother-in-law, the main thing I need to consider is whether he can deliver results promptly. It’s not like I’m asking him to travel with me on the weekends, I’m not violating labor laws, and you don’t have to take on important work, but there’s nothing for your salary increases. I didn’t threaten you, and don’t you think it’s unfair that I don’t incentivize someone else to follow me on a 50-day business trip, and I don’t raise his salary?”
“Your boyfriend called to break up with you, what does it have to do with me, if you care so much about your boyfriend’s support or not, you resign, I’ll approve it in seconds, and I’m not even obligated to find out if you cried or didn’t cry, argued or didn’t argue, it’s not something I should care about as a supervisor. I’m not your mother-in-law, I’m not your mom, I only care about results, we’re just in an employment relationship.”
“I’m ten or twenty years older than you, I have two kids too, and I didn’t cry about being tired, so who are you to say your husband needs you back? If you want to go back, go back, and you’ll have nothing to do with the promotion level and salary increase in the future.”
ZZYY: To be honest, I recognize that hard work leads to the future. More and more of the so-called post-00s are overhauling the workplace, which I do not fully agree with. If the company owes its employees, it should be punished; if they want to sit around and fish in troubled waters, it’s better to fire them early. And of course, I hope that many years from now, all people will be able to live easily and have enough time to experience a better world and life. But not now.
A Wuhan University Selected Graduates is unhappy about being assigned to Jiayuguan
A graduate student of Wuhan University became a civil servant through the “Selected Graduates” examination because she was not assigned to work in her hometown of Lanzhou, but in another city in Gansu, Jiayuguan, and was dissatisfied. She left an article on the campus wall titled “Mountain Flowers Seek Sea Trees, Not as Good as the Spring Breeze”, which tells of her hard work during the preparation, and complains about Jiayuguan, a city full of grievances and bad-mouthing: “Jiayuguan is a backward small county on the Gobi Beach, where I’m confined and can’t move”.
Selected Graduates, is the provincial party committee organization department systematically selected from institutions of higher learning and excellent fresh bachelor’s degree and above graduates to work at the grassroots level, as the party and government leading cadres reserve candidates and county-level party and government organs above the high-quality staff candidates to focus on the cultivation of the abbreviation of the group.
ZZYY: While not representative of all young people, it is a microcosm of some of today’s post-00s. I appreciate southern China’s beautiful mountains, water, small bridges, and homes. Still, I prefer the majestic atmosphere of the Northwest, although there although the land is barren and economically backward, the weather is dry and cold, and sandy winds such as knives ……
There is a traditional thought that is dominant in China: to learn and to excel. That is to say, those who study well or have outstanding abilities should become officials (civil servants). In China, it is the dream of many families/individuals to be able to work in the civil service system; if one can become a big official in the government system, not to mention whether or not one can serve the people, but at least it is something that can honor one’s ancestors! The power and benefits that come with being an official are something that many people aspire to and are obsessed with.
TikTok chose to play hardball
On April 24, U.S. President Joe Biden signed a bill forcing ByteDance to divest its app TikTok of its U.S. operations. In the relevant provisions, ByteDance was given a deadline of about nine months to divest its U.S. business or face a nationwide ban.
On May 7, TikTok and its parent company, ByteDance, formally announced that it had filed a lawsuit in U.S. federal court alleging that the bill signed by Biden was unconstitutional and asking the court to overturn it.
ZZYY: TikTok has gained popularity among young users, it has too much influence and is worried about controlling media and influencing public opinion. “If you’re not at the table, you’re going to be on the menu” or “If you can’t beat it, grab it” is the style of some Western politicians.
China and the United States will inevitably compete in these areas: trade, science and technology, public opinion, legal rules, finance, military, geopolitical, and cultural. Currently, the United States is already lagging in trade, both sides are evenly matched in science and technology, and the United States should still be ahead in the other areas. The TikTok incident is exactly that, a competition in the field of public opinion..
